Member Directory
Q. I am a member and noticed that some of my information listed in the directory is incorrect. How do I change it?

Updating Page Content
Q. I am a club member and have been designated as a page administrator but I don't know where to start. How do I update page content?
A. First, you must log in with your user id and password. Once you have done that, go to the page that you are responsible for. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see Manage Page Content. Under the Action column, click on Edit.

Q. I want to have the text appear in bold but it doesn't seem to work?
A. When you are in Edit working on your page, you will see a row of buttons near the top. These can be used to format your text.

Note these buttons work best in Internet Explorer.

All you need to do is to highlight the text that you want to appear in bold, italics, underlined or as a list, then click on the button icon. You should see what's called HTML tags in front and at the end of your text. If you use Mozilla Firefox, when you click on the icons these tags will be put at the end of your text, not with the text that you have highlighted.

Once you Save your page edits and refresh the page in your browser, you should see the changes that you have made.

Q. What's the difference between List and List= ?
A. List will create a bulleted list of items; List= creates a numbered list. Be aware that if you have a list of items that you want bulleted or numbered, you will need to select each line individually (don't select all of the lines together) and then click on the List or List= icons.

Technical
Q. Why do we have to have a web page that requires cookies to be turned-on?
Most any website with any form of security (such as EGYC) or e-commerce will require you to have cookies turned on for your sessions to work properly (banks, credit cards, or online stores for example).

Cookies are just some bits of data stored on your computer that are designed to ease your experience with a website. Yes, they have received some bad press(probably mostly undeserved) but we can assure you that no abuse of any kind is happening with the EGYC website.

There is some basic info at this link (and yes this site probably tries to write a cookie): http://www.howstuffworks.com/cookie3.htm

Turning cookies on and off is fairly simple, you can even set things up so you are prompted to permit/deny cookies on a case by case basis – here are some instructions: http://www.chami.com/tips/internet/042499I.html
